What is VoIP?
Traditional phone calls are carried over a Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), whereas VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) calls are carried thru the internet. VoIP is fast becoming superior to traditional telephony in that it avoids toll charges allowing for substantial savings on your company phone bills. Indeed, recent findings concluded that VoIP telephone networks typically save at least 20 to 40% off your monthly phone bills.

Common VoIP Myths
Myth: Voice quality is bad.
There are 3 primary reasons why VoIP networks are prone to problems:- Internet connection: Poor internet means poor VoIP. To make the VoIP work Titan recommends an ADSL for your connection, and with a minimum of 100mb/sec per line. - The quality of the Codec used to transmit the VoIP calls: Codec encodes your phone call allowing calls to be made or received. Most VoIP providers only use 24mb/sec to transmit their VoIP calls, whereas the Titan VoIP is transmitted at 100mb/sec – so you have access to uncompressed VoIP!
